Here at Cobblestone, we welcome submissions from freelance journalists, as well as other people willing and able to submit stories/comment. If you wish to do so, please contact us via email at:

Please give your name (and/or your preferred name under which to publish) and a brief description of the submission.

Submitting stories:

If you’d like to pitch a news story, we ask that it be brief and ideally focused on Cornwall-specific subjects. We also ask that if you have already written the piece you would like us to publish, that it is kept between 650-850 words. Though we will of course allow for shorter/longer pieces, depending on its content.

Submitting opinion/ analysis pieces:

If you have an opinion/ analysis piece that you would like to pitch on either a Cornish or broader subject, we ask that you keep your pitch brief and highlight the main points you’d like to cover. If you have already written the piece, we will happily take submissions in the range of 1,000 – 1,100 words, though are willing to accept those below or above this word-count.
